Heart Shaped Cushion

To make this heart you don’t need a lot of different materials. 

An important tip: for a full effect , use your yarn double.

You need:

• 4 balls Durable Cosy (or yarn suitable for 5-7 mm hook) for double use of yarn
• Fiberfill
• Crochet hook 9 mm
• Wooden beads

Chain 3

Row 1:    2 sc in 2nd ch from hook – 1 sc in next ch stitch – ch 1, turn

Row 2:    *2sc in 1st sc previous row – 1 sc in each sc – ch 1, turn*

                 Repeat between * * until you have 28 sc.

Row 25:   14 sc – ch 1, turn.

Row 26:   the first 2 sc together (decrease) –  sc in the next 10 sc – last 2 sc together –  ch 1 , turn  ( 12 sc).

Row 27:   the first 2 sc tog – sc in the next 8 sc – last 2 sc tog – ch 1, turn (10 sc).

Row 28:   the first 2 sc tog – sc in the next 6 sc – last 2 sc tog – ch 1, turn (8 sc).

Row 29:   the first 2 sc tog – sc in the next 4 sc – last 2 sc tog – ch 1, turn (6 sc).

Row 30:   the first 2 sc tog – sc in the next 2 sc – last 2 sc tog – ch 1, turn (4 sc).

Row 31:   the first and last 2 sc tog (2 sc), cast off.

For second arc:

Join with yarn on the other side of the heart.

14 sc – ch 1, turn

Repeat row 26 – 31.

Crochet another one if you want to make the pillow.

Sew them together and  leave an opening to fill your heart.

Close the heart.
